What's Next? Academic Performance, Covid-19, and Access to Health Care!
GoalThe goal for our IESNO Zoom Through 2020 Series is for school nurses to understand how they can conduct student health interviews while schools continue with distance learning. Resources to utilize as identified through the health interview, isolation room set up and implementation once students return to in-person schooling, an how we can both practice and teach the strategy of mindfulness to maintain mental wellness.

ObjectivesWhile students are participating in distance learning, the school nurse will be able to:
1. Define mindfulness 2. What are differences between formal and informal mindfulness practices? 3. List 2 benefits students may experience when they practice mindfulness in school |
