The mission of the Inland Empire School Nurse Organization is to promote and strengthen its members in their role as the primary health professional within the educational community. This will be accomplished through: professional development, legislative advocacy, and communication with members.
The primary responsibility of board directors is to participate in the development of policy and major decision-making at board meetings held once a month during the school year from August to May. Another key responsibility is to actively assist in the promotion, planning and implementation of two conferences per school year. Other key responsibilities are monitoring the IESNO goals and objectives, assisting in fundraising activities, and representing school nurses in the broader community.
