Course DescriptionSpeaker will address the current legal concerns, requirements and strategies affecting school nurses during the pandemic. These concerns include- legal obligation to place students with medical needs in the least restrictive environment (LRE), legal requirements with regard to Home and Hospital instruction, before, during, and after COVID-19; and provide information regarding caring for students with allergies.

1. State 1-2 legal reasons a student with medical needs must be enrolled in the least restrictive environment (LRE). 2. List one legal requirement of Home Hospital placement for students. |
